We loved everything about our stay at the Indus River Camp. The riverside location is gorgeous, the food is wonderful, and everyone there was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Jigmet was the perfect host, always making sure we had everything we needed, including organising a driver (the lovely Stanzen) and a guide (Mingur, who added so many layers of knowledge to our visits to Alchi and Saspol) when we made trips away from the camp. We were there for our last few days in Ladakh, but it would also be the perfect place to acclimatize on arrival.

The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking. It was an oasis that we simply didin’t want to leave. The hospitality was just beyond our expectations. The staff really took care of us, making us feel like home, the warmth that they gave us is just rare these days. The food was delicious, freshly made from everything that was ready in the garden or local markets. We ended up extending our stay, because we loved it so much. Highly recommend. Thank you for looking after us.

Absolutely everything. The location was super peaceful, staff the friendliest I’ve ever experienced, and the most beautiful room with a view I’ve ever stayed in. I’m vegan and gluten-free which is always a challenge while traveling and they accommodated me with the most amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner I’ve ever had. I was blown away and still think about it to this day. I will definitely be back!
