It had a lot of character and host was amazing. Manuel took me to a market village and then picked me up to take me to outside Montpellier
Outside area was a little sad. Perhaps it was end of season (October) but not able to seat in the lovely comfy outside seating.
Felt slightly as if he was closing up.
Nowhere to eat so Manual offered to cook something for us. Great food and great wine but worth checking beforehand how much would cost as felt a tad high on his wine choice. He arrived with this great local wine but it was very expensive.

Manuel is an amazing host, who made our stay very comfortable and special. He cooked delicious food for us and our group of friends, and even helped us getting to the marriage of our friends in time in ironed clothing!

Very warm welcome
L'Escampe was just as advertised and Manuel an outstanding host. He was considerate and helpful with all aspects of our stay. We followed another guest's suggestion that we ask him to cook dinner. He is a very experienced chef, and he created a feast for us.
Be sure to arrive hungry. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable and the location quiet and peaceful.
The bed most comfortable.
