About this villa rental
On the Carretera General del Sur km 19.8, a 160 m2 villa with 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an equipped kitchen and a living room.
2000 m2 of garden with pool shared with me.
Barbecue, parking for two cars, wifi and international TV.
Three minutes from Candelaria, a coastal city with a magnificent beach, restaurants, supermarkets and shops/souvenirs.
Twenty minutes from the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Necessary to rent a car for your trips.

Host (Rafael) - 10/10 for communication and discreetness. Rafael lives in a dwelling under the main house. The only times we saw him were when he was cleaning the pool or we had questions. He speaks very good English.Accommodation - 10/10 for cleanliness. Private parking with security gates.Ground floor - Kitchen with all facilities, TV room with sofa and chairs (Spanish/German satellite TV programmes). There is a Firestick available for Netflix, Prime and YouTube (if you have a subscription). Excellent Wifi. Bathroom with a bath and shower. Large bedroom with two single beds and lots of wardrobe space. Small balcony (off the TV room) that is perfect for catching the sunrise.Upstairs - Open plan and very spacious with a double bed, bathroom with bath and shower. Seating area with sofa and chairs. Balcony that has fantastic views of the mountains and the sea.Outside area - 10/10. The gardens are tiered with 2 levels. Both levels are exclusively for guests. Fantastic sun trap. Mercadona, Aldi & Hipodino supermarkets are 10 minutes drive.Recommended - CICAR car hire at the airport. We will definitely return

Property was just as described . Absolutely beautiful with gorgeous gardens and pool. Owner was very friendly but not intrusive at all. Views from the balcony were incredible . Easy access to all beaches . A fabulous holiday . We hope to return next year.

Superb house situated perfectly for touring all of the island. Candelaria is a lovely non touristy spot. House had everything we needed and Rafa was a great host. You definitely need a car although there is a bus stop very close by and we used the bus one evening.

Grundsätzliches
Bei Buchung gingen wir eigentlich vom einem Ferienhaus mit Pool zur Alleinnutzung aus, wie sonst eigentlich üblich. Leider mussten wir
dann vor Ort feststellen das auch der Vermieter im Haus wohnt. Das Haus besteht demnach aus 3 Wohnungen. In der Souterrain Ebene, wo auch der Pool ist, wohnt der Vermieter. Erdgeschoss und Obergeschoss stehen einem zur Verfügung.
Auch wenn der Vermieter samt Freundin sehr nett ist, dennoch ist es eine Einschränkung, da man den Pool nie vollkommen allein und somit frei nutzen kann und man so nie wirklich für sich ist.
Die Wohnungen entsprechen den Bildern bei FEWO und sind für 3-4 Personen sicher ausreichend.
Lage
Das Haus liegt zwischen Guimar und Candelaria und man erreicht es nach ca. 30 Minuten Fahrtzeit vom Flughafen Süd.
Vom Haus aus kommt man ideal und schnell zu den Topspots der Insel Anaga Gebirge / Las Terisitas /Santa Cruz /Teide oder in den Süden.
Eigentlich ideal. Allerdings liegt das obere Geschoss in Höhe der TF28 - was ein wenig Geräuschbelästigung unter der Woche mit sich bringt.
Von der Autobahn hört man nichts. Vom Haus aus hat man einen tollen Meerblick und Fernblick. 5 Min. entfernt findet man LIDL der von 9-22 Uhr offen hat.
Zustand - Sauberkeit - Ausstattung
An der Sauberkeit muss wirklich gearbeitet werden. Wir hatten den Eindruck das es uns besenrein überlassen wurde, ein paar Handtücher hingelegt und fertig. Etwas lieblos. An einigen Stellen war es nicht sehr appetitlich. Leider an vielen Stellen im Haus Schmutz, tote Mücken und auch die Geräte in der Küche so unser Eindruck nie wirklich gereinigt. Das Inventar hat sicher schon bessere Zeiten erlebt und wirkte etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Manches sollte dringend ersetzt werden wie zb. die Poolliegen, der Toaster oder die Holz-Stühle aussen. Auch war die Ausstattung der Küche nicht komplett. Einiges mussten wir nachkaufen. Hier war der Vermieter zwar bereit die Kosten zu übernehmen, aber in Fe-Häuser sind wir andere Standards gewöhnt.Kostet alles Zeit es nachzukaufen. Das Wlan läuft schnell und auch im SAT TV bekommt man alle deutschen Sender.
Sonstiges
Wer absolute Ruhe sucht muss wissen das es hier durchaus mitunter nicht gerade leise zugeht. Hundezucht unterhalb mit teils enormen Hundegeheule/Gebell und oberhalb eine Hühnerfarm/Geruch und die TF28. Top: Es gibt keine Kakerlaken! Strände Umgebung allesamt ne Reise wert.
Tipp
Unbedingt Fliegenfängerstreifen mitbringen! Kann man nirgends kaufen auf Teneriffa!
