Horrible experience! Go somewhere else!

Unfortunately, nothing.. The only positive was David who helped us get access to the flat .. he warned us in advance of a taxi strike in Milan on the day of our arrival and tried to find us alternative transportation but nothing was available so he told us all the metro stops we should take and how to get to the flat..thank you David ..

After booking for 3 nights for our family of 4, I had to abandon the property after 1 night and rebook another hotel because the flat was basically unlivable.. although the temperature was only 25 degrees outside at night, the flat was so hot I had to sleep with almost nothing on and still was unable to sleep despite having the windows wide open and still there was not even a hint of air coming in.. needless to say I couldn’t sleep and kept waking up suffocated and had to keep washing my face in order to cool down .. a portable AC was provided for only one of the rooms and was totally inadequate .. my wife and 2 children had to cram on to one bed to get any kind of ventilation and none of them managed to sleep comfortably because the AC basically was very weak even though it was on maximum and failed to provide any kind of cooling .. at one point, out of desperation, I tried to sleep close to the fridge with the fridge and freezer doors open to get any kind of cooling (it didn’t work!).. I had to forfeit my two remaining nights because there was no cancellation refund on this property and incurred additional expense because of the new hotel I had to book .. sadly when I messaged booking.com with my complaint I did not receive any reply or acknowledgement. the flat itself is at least 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro (not easy when you have luggage), the building itself was old (which may suit some) with a tiny elevator and with the windows open you could hear the noise from the street (although the area itself is relatively quiet) and the neighbours calling to each other in the morning .. the flat itself was clean and colourful, the bathroom clean.. the Wi-Fi connectivity was poor.

8 / 10Excellent·Sep 2025

Vicino a tutto.

Forse il bagno avrebbe bisogno di un pò di restyling.
