About this apartment rental
Nestled in the heart of the Palatinate Forest lies the Schönbachhof, a paradise for horses and people alike.
The Schönbachhof is the perfect destination for leisure travelers—whether you’re a rider with or without your own horse, a mountain biker, or simply someone looking to relax, hike, and enjoy life. As a certified trail riding station and MTB-friendly establishment, we’ll show you the most beautiful views and trails in our Palatinate Forest—on horseback, by bike, or on foot—off the beaten path, individually tailored and planned to suit your preferences. For this, we can provide you with customized tours via GPX data. You can also borrow our guest outdoor navigation device with your personalized tour preloaded.
Relax in the special ambiance of our lovingly furnished guest rooms, decorated in an English country house style, and in our picturesque garden. All guests have access to our breakfast room, which offers a generous, high-quality breakfast, as well as our dual-zone wine refrigerator stocked with fine Palatinate wines and other beverages.
Or, if you have the necessary riding skills, discover the incomparable Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve and the Dahner Felsenland—with all their castles and bizarre sandstone formations—on the backs of our well-trained horses, under the expert guidance of a certified mounted nature guide and riding guide (FN). Beginners and advanced riders alike have the opportunity to take professional riding lessons in the Old California Western riding style. Please direct inquiries and bookings for this by phone or email.
Your dog is also very welcome. As a courtesy, we provide dog blankets, bowls, and special towels upon request so that your dog feels just as comfortable as you do.
Curious about us and the Schönbachhof? Then why not stop by and see for yourself—we look forward to welcoming you!
Warm regards, the Jutta and Dirk Müller-Weiland family
