The island town of Malchow, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Mecklenburg Lake District,” is located between Lake Plau and Lake Müritz, right on Lake Malchow and Lake Flee. Malchow is a small, romantic, and idyllic town with a population of about 6,500. The historic town center is situated on a small island, where you’ll also find the half-timbered town hall. Experience cultural and culinary highlights. Our museums (Organ Museum, Curiosity Museum, Museum of Everyday Life in the GDR, and an exhibition of regional artists) and various local venues look forward to your visit. The surrounding area also offers many interesting places to visit. For example, the Müritz National Park is about 26 km away, the Bärenwald is 15 km away, and the Affenwald with its summer toboggan run is just 4 km away. Thanks to its convenient location, you can quickly reach beautiful cities such as Neubrandenburg, Schwerin, Rostock, and Berlin.

The vacation rental is located in a quiet row house neighborhood on the western side of the island town of Malchow. The vacation rental is 39 m² and was renovated in 2021. The interior is bright and welcoming. The combined living/sleeping area features a futon bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m), a closet for your travel wardrobe, a sofa area, built-in cabinets, and a TV. The kitchen is separate and equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils (smoothie maker, stand mixer), a microwave, refrigerator, freezer space, and an oven. The naturally lit bathroom with a window features modern furnishings, including a shower, a sink, a toilet, and a towel rack. A washing machine is also available. Through the large patio window in the living/sleeping area, you can step out onto the cozy patio and wind down there in the evening. You can park your car right in front of the house. Wi-Fi is available.
