About this house rental
Escape the hustle and bustle of life at our beautiful Lake June in Winter home, The Escape House. Nestled on the deep water cove with a huge focus on the outdoor space. We have an expansive dock and boat house with plenty of room to tie up your boat and watercraft. There is an outdoor pavilion with picnic tables and grilling area, a sundeck for lounging, and a covered and screened in porch to relax.
Lake June is a sandy bottom, fresh water lake know for boating, skiing, wakeboarding, surfing, fishing, and all types of water activities.
We provide kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets and a place to dock your boat.
Our home is well stocked with towels, beach towels, linens, kitchen supplies.
There are 7 bedrooms, 3 of which have bunk beds for the kids, twin/full. The rest of the bedrooms all have new queen matresses.
There are plenty of bathrooms too!
We have 2 full kitchens and plenty of sitting areas to relax. The home is equipped with 5 smart TVs so you can stream your favorite shows and movies. High speed comcast wifi available for you as well.
In the evenings, when you come off the lake, enjoy our game room where you can play pool, ping ping, and darts.
For those of you with an EV, we have a Tesla Wall Charger and a Standard Wall Charger, so no worries finding a place to charge your vehicle!
We really tried to think of it all and provide the perfect escape!
Please note, There are prime weeks during the year where we have a 7 night minimum stay. The balance of the year we have a 3 night minimum stay. If there are dates you are interested in taking and would like to request an exception to the 7 night minimum, please message me. If I can do it, I will try to accommodate your needs.

Our mutli generational group of 10 stayed at this property for 7 nights in June 26. The layout and separate spaces was great for groups.We've been coming to Lake June since I was little, and have stayed in dozens of houses on the lake. My parents say we stayed in this house 30 years ago (it has been extensively updated). This was one of our favorites. A lot of the homes are older and not well insulated, but this home kept a comfortable temperature. Kayaks and Paddleboards were easy to access and put away, so we used more than I expected. We had 2 smaller boats at dock and still plenty of room to jump off and play. I really appreciated the big steps on the dock for my 75 year old mother to be able to swim.. way easier than ladders (had those too) and not slippery. There's plenty of shade and a fan on the dock so we sat down there even when it was 95 humid degrees outside. They put alot of effort into yard maintenance, and pest control. Following my pup into corners, I didn't get any spider webs in my face, and that's impressive. They had a lot of fridge space, and 2 separate kitchens helped with morning and kids. Quiet, private road. Internet was fast enough to work from home. The home is older so some doors stick and such but clean, updated and maintained. We will here again. NOTE there are A LOT of stairs from house to dock. My parents 70s parents were winded, but they were fine. There's a deck off the house w a view if you have mobility issues. Loved it

This is our 3rd year, the kids and grandkids so look forward to this holiday!! Doug’s home is great for families the home itself and the outdoor activities are great!! Thanks for the memories

The home was amazing! Doug was a fantastic host as well! Super responsive and helpful. We can’t wait to bring our family back here for our next trip. There was more than enough room for 4 families and all of our children, and the game room was great!We would highly recommend!
