About this apartment rental
At a very short walking distance from Rome’s best preserved ancient highlight, really 2 minutes to the Pantheon, Casa Cornacchie is an apartment on the 1st floor of a historic building. Two bedrooms, with double or single beds - depending on your demand - can sleep up to four people. The first bedroom, with a wardrobe, is next to the hall, whereas the living room opens through a little passage to the kitchen. The living room has a round dining table and an additional armchair besides the sofa and TV, including few international channels. The kitchen is narrow but fully equipped, and it also has two stools. Along the passage there is a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. At the end, the second bedroom has one or two single beds, a desk with a chair and a closet. Air conditioning and wireless Internet are everywhere at Casa Cornacchie. People have happened to live in this area from imperial times, through the Middle Ages, to modern times, so just come and take a place in history!
Standard check-in: from 3 pm to 9 pm (With self-service check-in, guests can enter after 9:00 PM without any additional charges).
Check-out by 11 am
Upon request, we are flexible with check-in and check-out times, depending on the apartment's availability and cleaning requirements.
Check-in is self-service. To receive the access details, guests must complete the online form with all the required mandatory information. If the Italian Government introduces regulations prohibiting self-service check-ins, we will provide in-person check-in from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A late fee of €50 will apply for check-ins after 9:00 PM.
An extra fee for check-in in person of € 35 will be charged for check-ins on the following dates: December 25, January 1, Easter Sunday and August 15th.
Check-in is by self-check-in. It is MANDATORY for the guest to fill out the online form I will send when booking the property, providing their ID information as required by Italian law. Additionally, the rental contracts are included within the form, and signing them is mandatory. The form must be completed within 48 hours of the guest's arrival in Rome. Filling out the form takes about 5 minutes.
In this apartment, the following are not allowed:
- hosting parties
- smoking
- bringing pets
- making noise during quiet hours (from 10:30 pm to 9:00 am)
For children up to 3 years old, a travel cot is available upon request, at a cost of € 50 per stay.

We so enjoyed our stay at Casa Cornacchie. The apartment was well equipped and the AC was a dream since we were in Rome during a heat wave. The team at Home to Rome was incredibly responsive and available for questions. Plus, the videos they shared with very specific details about entering the apartment and all the things available in the apartment were so helpful. Thank you Home to Rome team, we’d definitely return!

Fantastic location and is literally 2 minute walk to Pantheon as well as supermarkets and restaurants etc. The best sandwich place ever is 1 minute walk away. The apartment is really spacious with beautiful ceilings and perfect for a family of 4. The Aircon works really well and the beds/bedding were super comfortable and lots of wardrobe space. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay, even to cook a full meal. The street noise was pretty good considering you are right in the middle of the busy tourist area of Rome. Morning bin collection and small amount of traffic, but no late night noise. However, while we were there, they were opening a new restaurant on the ground floor below the apartment and unfortunately this meant really loud drilling and hammering at very odd hours, late into the night each night and even started up again from 1am-3am on our last night. Not sure if they had a deadline to open the restaurant, however it did make me wonder if once the restaurant is open, there may be a lot of noise from diners/kitchen etc. You should check with apartment management to see restaurant hours, especially if you are sensitive to noise as it is directly below. Apart from the noise, apartment is perfect and we enjoyed our 4 nights in Rome.

Location doesn’t get much better than this. Close to everything, easy to access. Space was good for 4 of us. Bathroom is small and didn’t have many places to hang towels. Living space was fine but felt a bit old and in need of a refresh. Host was helpful and communicated well. The place has potential for a 5 star but for the price I’d expect some nicer or less run down finishes.

Clothes Washer was very helpful and easy to use, A/C was great, It was a great location to access all the site in Central Rome. Loved the neighborhood.There was a significant sewage odor coming from the toilet area. The host cleaned it up the first day but it was there every day and the Host response was "sorry for that, this could happen in the city center but mostly when you keep water running disappear" but that did not resolve the odor. It was not healthy and I was disappointed that no adjustment was offered.This was the only negative thing I have to about this property.
