Less than 25 km away: L'Islette, Villandry, Rigny-Usse, Langeais, Chinon, Sache, 45 'from Chenonceaux, the Abbey of Fontevraud, Montsoreau, Saumur) and 1h15 from Chambord) in the center of the Valley of the Kings.

- visits to wineries (AOC Touraine Azay-le-Rideau, Chinon, Bourgueil, St Nicolas de Bourgueil, Montlouis, Vouvray),

Old and rustic. The bathrooms are basic, and the washing machine is in the downstairs en suite shower room, which is small, as is the downstairs bedroom. The upstairs room in the outer 'cave' accommodation is up a very steep staircase, which none of our party wanted to use ( could only get down it backwards). But good value for money for large groups, as long as you are prepared to share the bathrooms and toilets.

Superb house for a family and friends to get together. Alain has equipped the house with everything you need, its grand without being delicate. Beforehand, Alain was easily contactable and amenable. Fabulous place, will be back again

We enjoyed a super fun vacation. Staying in a well-equipped country house with pool, 2 km from the town was a real plus.
Well-equipped kitchen, nice and large sitting area, a dining room with a dining table for 20 people, sitting areas for sunbathing and shaded areas.
one downside! The sanitary facilities could be improved;
