About this cottage rental
Dob Cottage is a nearly new stone built cottage in a pleasant courtyard setting, just a short stroll from the village centre with all it's amenities. The cottage is fitted out with all mod.cons. and yet has the characterful beams so typical of the area. The bedroom on the ground floor has 2 comfortable 3ft beds (can convert to double) with pocket sprung mattresses. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower plus wc and wash basin.. Upstairs is an open plan kitchen/lounge area with all modern facilities including a 42" flat screen television, with Netflix.
No more than two minutes walk away, there are good restaurants, take-aways, shops, ATM's and lots of countryside walks, so no need to use the car . There is an allocated parking spot right outside the door of the cottage.
The charming village of Holmfirth with its many quirky little shops and eating places, is just 5 minutes drive away.

Jenny was a marvellous host. She was really helpful with good communication and happy to let us get on with it unless we needed help. We had a three month stay we loved the cottage and Honley is a lovely town with lots of restaurants a really good Co op all within walking distance. The surrounding scenery is really beautiful.

Just perfect. This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful cottage and we really enjoyed our time there and Jenny is just the perfect host. Short walk to shops, restaurants and all amenities and Dob Cottage has everything we needed and more.Can highly recommend as certainly lives up to expectations and more.

Impractical for stays over one week because of inadequate laundry facilities, and no cleaning service provided during the stay. The overall property is not cleaned thoroughly and in general need of TLC and maintenance. This property is cramped for two people.
