Terrible

There was Nothing to like

We booked this villa expecting the “entire place to ourselves” as advertised, but the reality was completely different and far below what was promised. • Privacy & Safety: From the start, we were not given proper keys (not even for the front door). Workers and strangers entered the villa without notice, and only after repeated requests were we finally given a gate key. Even worse, we discovered there were cameras monitoring us. The caretaker also warned us that if we complained, he could “lose his job,” which made the stay feel unsafe and intimidating. • False advertising: The property was advertised as 6 bedrooms at the time of booking. One was completely unusable due to water damage, leaving us with only 5. After we raised the issue, the host quietly changed the listing to 5 bedrooms, but we have screenshots proving it was 6 when we booked. The entire top floor—advertised for its views—was also off-limits. • Facilities unusable: • One bedroom shower was broken. • The outdoor pool shower caused flooding in the gym, so neither could be used. • The pool was restricted to hours not stated in the listing and at times we were told we could not use it at all because it “needed cleaning.” • We were denied use of the communal kitchen and BBQ advertised in the listing; instead, we had to ask to use the caretaker’s basement kitchen. • Poor condition: There is an ant infestation in the garden and balcony areas, and the whole property feels poorly maintained. We paid over £1,300 (approx. €1,500) for less than a week, and this fell drastically short of expectations. The villa was misrepresented, facilities were restricted or unusable, and privacy was completely violated. The only positive was Ilyas, who was kind, helpful, and did his best (including cooking us breakfast). None of these issues were his fault. To make things even worse, after we reported the problems the host changed the Booking.

Exceptional

Where do I begin, this villa exceeded my expectations. It was modern and had plenty of space for everyone. All air conditioning were working, and we had smart TVs throughout the house. I was completely blown away by the level of service I received before and during my stay. All my questions that I asked before travelling were answered almost immediately by a man in the name of Illias. He really assured me in every way. He was always there for us during our stay and even suggested a few places for us to visit with our children. We had two ladies at the villa who were amazing, they were Soumaya and Maryam. They were there to prepare our food – which by the way was delicious! Authentic and mouthwatering Moroccan dishes. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was 5 stars but I can assure you it felt like it was 10 stars. We also had a maintenance/security guard who was there everyday making sure everything was in working order and that our pool was cleaned daily. We were welcomed by a lady named Fatima who also arranged our hammam – which was fantastic. She was also there for any enquiries throughout our whole duration and a big plus point was that she was able to speak English fluently. I would recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay with a group of friends or family. Once again, I would like to say a big thank you to Ilias, Maryam, Soumaya, Fatima and Khalid for making our trip for one to remember. Thank you!
