A real gem of a place on the seafront in beautiful Newquay. However the real gem of Tregela Guest House was the personal touch of the owners who did everything to make our stay truely special. Due to storms we arrived in the middle of the night but we were accommodated and arrived to a beautiful warm room followed the next morning by a delicious full English breakfast.

The location was amazing with a view over the harbour from the balcony. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's an amazing beach a short walk down the concrete steps just opposite the hotel. The bed was quite comfortable.
The room was quite small and the toilet and shower were along the hall which was a little inconvenient. I think there were better rooms in the hotel but we booked late and that was the only one remaining. Parking was sometimes difficult to find near the hotel but if you were lucky enough to find a vacant space near the hotel, it was free.

The location was excellent, the rooms were spotless, the host friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast
Everything was really good but I found climbing the stairs !!!

Free parking in the surrounding area, 1 minute walk to main street. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Over looks the bay.
The shower was a tad tight to get into, but I'm a largish person, which probably doesn't help.
