Fantastic location! You can walk from here to just about anywhere you'd like in the Alte Stadt. Loved the German engineering/design of the room...not a single wasted space, yet the room had an open feel to it. What is fun is that each room features the works of a famous artist. External black-out blinds you can raise and lower. Reza and Herr Schneider at the reception desk were incredibly helpful and friendly. There's a staffed laundry/dry-cleaning service adjacent to the hotel, which enabled us to do 2 loads of washing before we left. It's conveniently located a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof. It's also just around the corner from where the buses leave for Neuschwanstein/Linderhof/Hohenschwangau.

Being as it's on a busy road with a tram, it was a little noisy. The first night, we noticed the noise, but by the second night, after walking around all day, we didn't notice it at all due to our exhaustion!

The most helpful staff I have experienced. My roof had exceptional flexible lighting, a good shower, the bed was ok, there were complimentary refreshments in the fridge & a coffee maker. Charming boutique hotel. The breakfast in the small Afghan restaurant next door was fine & more than adequate. Convenient location to main station and main square.

Nothing to dislike. The elevator was old European size, but big enough.

Hotel easy short walk from central train station and convenient laundromat nearby. Clean and comfortable room.

Trams and street noisy but room has great blockout blinds to help. Use earplugs for a better sleep
