Great view and location. Exceptional service. Excellent food. This is a hidden gem at lago Coatepeque. We stayed at a room with a lake view and a balcony. The sunset view was gorgeous.

Very uniquely beautiful hotel! Loved the location and staff. Staff so friendly and very attentive to our needs. Quiet, upmarket hotel where my friend and i could chill, relax and enjoy the beautiful views and ambience. Really enjoyed that some food products came from their on site farm. Food was also delicioso! Hotel set in fab grounds with nature and greenery all around you. Room was exquisite. Space, views and linens. Would seriously love to return one day...
Nothing really. I would have liked a kettle so i could make a cuppa here and there, but maybe that's a British thing!

We loved the hotel, it very clean and with a modern decor, the room very spacious, however the bathroom didn't have AC so it tended to get very warm in there. The breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed the pool and the use of the kayaks, the lake is beautiful.
Staff very pleasant.
THE ROAD TO THE HOTEL IS TERRIBLE!! It's a dirt road and it takes forever to get there.

The fact that I could cancel my second night.
This place doesn’t deserve 4 stars, the points nor the good reviews. Despite claims the majority of rooms do not have balconies. You can not really call the walkway outside the rooms that leads to all the rooms balcony. And the only window is to this walkway so you cannot keep the curtains open. The garden view rooms have a view of the asphalt where the cars parked under the rooms turn. The set up reminded me of a US motel. The restaurant is ok but over priced. And the road to get to the hotel is in really bad shape. No hairdryer in the bathrooms.
