The Rochester is the quintessential Vermont town. You are walking distance to the center where you’ll find a couple of amazing restaurants and coffee shops, hiking and biking trails, and a gas station that serves soft ice cream!
We have ample parking across the street and it is a short 5 minute walk to the center of town.
We are thrilled you are staying at our lovely home. As stated prior, this is a unique type of home. This brick house was an actual one room school house in the 1800`s. We ask you treat the house as if it belonged to your grandma`s grandma and do your best to take care of this slice of history. Also, when parking, please stay closer to the side of the house given the parking space is shared with neighbor to the right. We also have 2 parking spots across the street. Please respect the privacy of the cottage behind the house. Feel free to use the back yard, but know this is shared space. As always, leave the place better than you found it and be a good neighbor. Help yourself to the condiments and cooking supplies available. All we ask is that you replenish what you use.
