RENTER - BE WARNED

Apartment is ideally located in the Spanish Steps quarter. Bedrooms are large and air-conditioned.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor and no lift. 9 flights of stairs (93 steps) which are very narrow. This information is embedded deeply inside the Booking.com program, so not easy to find. Lighting on the narrow staircase wasn't working in all sections - quite dangerous. Terrible smell emanates from the bathroom at times so the door needs to be kept closed. No real common area - kitchen rather small and no wifi signal there. The apartment isn't soundproof as advertised. From the bedroom facing the street you hear EVERYTHING. Cars, trucks, motorbikes, delivery vans, trollies, people dragging bags, conversions. This continues until about 2am. Starts again around 5am. .There seems to be a loft apartment above and you can hear all footsteps of the occupant/s. Music school/lessons only about 10/15 metres from the kitchen window. Starts around 8:30am - 5:00pm. Drums, piano, flute, violin etc. Not all being played well. Window directly opposite the main door is a bar/karaoke bar - loud music until early hours - good luck trying to sleep!!! At the time of our stay, the building next door is under construction, jack-hammering, metal grinding, sanding, hammering - all day! TV remote in the smaller room not working. Batteries, not the problem. Advised host but after 2 weeks, no reply with a solution. Booked for 2 weeks in very hot weather. Didn't think it unreasonable to have sheets changed after one week but had to pay 30€ extra. That's after paying $3000Aus per week. Couldn't find the safety deposit box, tumble dryer, free toiletries. No utensils to peel vegetables. No information about where to dispose of rubbish. Wouldn't stay here again.

Wonderful stay but the building itself need some renovation.

In the right corner of Via del Corso half way between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Colonna very comfortable large space in the heart of Roma which is a rarity nowadays. Very comfortable beds. Very helpful and kind owner and staff.

A super steep 4 floors of stairs that felt like six and a awful smell from the toilet which was strong enough to make the whole apartment smell like a bad toilet

Very good location. Do not book if you cannot carry your luggage 5 floors up.

Great Location.

You need to walk up 5 floors. Not easy with luggage. Given the fact that this flat is on the 5th floor with no lift the host should have provided some water bottles in the flat and some essentials so you should not go to the supermarket right away. The coffee capsules provided by the host were for the wrong coffee machine. The TV in one of the bedrooms was not working.

Wszystko elegancko. Dobry kontakt z właścicielką, szybkie i łatwe wymeldowanie.
