All good

The bathroom is only ok

4 / 10

Disappointing experience and wouldn't recommend at all!

The location is good, with a lot of restaurants, small supermarkets and bakeries in the surrounding area. Keep in mind that this place is located under the Congonhas airport route, so you will be hearing airplane turbines! The building facilities look good, but unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to use them. The bed is comfortable but a bit small if it's for 2 big people. The shower has good pressure, but the bathroom is tiny and awkward. Getting in and out of the building was easy, since there is a receptionist 24 hours to open the main gate. The company that runs the place is available to chat on WhatsApp, but if you don't have internet (which was my case), communication is impossible.

Unfortunately, the place is a bit run-down and needs some serious maintenance! You deal with a company that runs the place, and I had no communication with the owner; I just received automated messages from her through booking. First and main issue for me: Internet! I stayed 2 days with no Internet signal at all, so for work I had to leave the place and pay to work in a coffee shop. Even though the building was having some issues with the Internet cable (which was addressed by other residents in the building). This place had a specific issue with a broken modem cable, which I personally had to deal with the company to sort out. Luckily, I speak fluent Portuguese; otherwise, there would be ZERO chance of sorting it. Other random issues with the maintenance of the place. The coffee machine is a Nescafé brand, not a Nespresso, so " bring your capsules, as recommended by the welcome package," was a waste of money. The capsules not only don't fit the machine, but the machine was also disgusting, making it impossible to use. The AC was working, but had tape on it, because the oscillating paddle was completely broken. So the options are freeze to death or deal with 32 °C of SP heat during summer, since the AC is located pointing towards the bed. The door handles are falling, so I got locked outside of the apartment twice and inside of the bathroom once. Bathroom ceiling with mould, even though the bathroom has a window, but the window is slightly broken, so take your chance, if you decide to open it. Towel hangers are broken, and some bathroom materials are rusted. No shower gel, no paper towel and the cutlery missing (just know because there are labels with quantities everywhere). Overall terrible experience for 5 days with a steep price! Everything was recorded through pictures.
