The apartment was located in a quiet area which was within a 20 minute walking distance to the sea and the Ventspils centre. The porperty has two apartments, which are identical, but mirrored. The apartment has three bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor, the third bedroom is a loft accessible by a rather steep ladder. The property is surrounded by a fence, so there is a safe place to park your car inside the property. Everything was clean and we felt comfortable. There was a private backyard with furniture, including a hammock and even a grill. The host met us on the first day, she gave us some quick instructions and gave us the keys.

The apartment is beautifully furnished, great location, enclosed yard where you can park your car, cozy terrace with everything you need for grilling.
It's dirty, the floors haven't been vacuumed, the sides of the stairs you grab onto are dirty, so you even get a scratch on your hands when you climb them, the kitchen walls, doors, and chairs are stained, the curtains are dirty, there's dust everywhere. The bathroom smelled of sewage upon arrival, there are a lot of black dots on the ceiling, it's hard to tell if it's mold or dried flies, hairs stuck to the walls from previous guests. Dirty dishes are piled up in the kitchen cupboard.
