We have visited many high end luxury hotels and were sceptic about the high rating but this one overall definitely plays in the league of a St. Regis or Ritz, at least with the renovated room we stayed in (they are not all the same).
The hotel delivers that special "six stars" feeling that only hotels of this class can give throughout the stay, including service, quietness and privacy while still offering fairly priced dinner.
Probably the best view you will have in your life, and for us a contender to the best hotel in Italy. We cannot wait to come back!
The only thing worth mentioning to improve on would be the toilet door which couldn't be closed for some reason and opened itself when not held closed by hand.
Also keep in mind that visiting other restaurants takes some driving.
