Comfortable and clean. Free parking. Nicely updated with cute decor. Good communication from staff.
Breakfast not served until 9 am which is too late for travelers. Hard even to get a coffee before that. My room had an extremely strong smell of cleaning products that persisted thru the whole night. Made it horribly unpleasant to be in the room or to sleep.

It was very considered without wanting to be too perfect which fitted so well with the location, buildings, history and ethos. Perfect hosting, lovely and peaceful. Breakfast was amazing and having access to a kitchen was an added bonus.

The quality of the finish throughout the place, the beautiful setting, and the staff were all outstanding. We only stayed for one night as we were visiting family nearby, but I really wish we could have stayed longer. I usually prefer nice 4-star hotels, but this place was just as good, if not better. It was so relaxing while still feeling like a high-quality stay. It honestly exceeded my expectations and looked even better than the photos.
A special mention to Mara, the assistant manager, who was ever so sweet and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and delicious.
Bonus: the mini goats and little pig farm! My daughter completely fell in love with them. 😆
My mum can’t walk much, and that was my own mistake as I didn’t check whether there was a lift or if the accommodation was on the ground floor. If we had booked earlier, I could have chosen a ground-level room. The staff helped her as much as they could, and it wasn’t too much of an issue as it was only one floor with a good staircase.

We did not stay. It was not an attractive property and the mountain view promised by booking.com didn't exist. The room was dark with one small window overlooking an unkempt yard. Thankfully, our deposit was refunded though technically, they could have kept it as we booked last minute.
