I found this motel almost a year ago now, and since then it is the only motel I stay in when I go to Christchurch. I highly recommend them and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Walking distance to the City Centre.
Hard to find a fault.

Nice clean room with modern bathroom and comfy bed. Great location, close to the CBD. Good parking and friendly staff.
Being next to a busy road was quite noisy but other than that no complaints!

The proprietors were friendly
Very handy location
Although the motel is on a busy road the traffic noise was minimal
The bed was a bit lumpy
The TV sound was unable to be adjusted
We were unable to get an onsite car park for a number of nights and had to park on the road which was a bit of a worry. This should have been provided for under our booking terms.
