Great location right in the middle of what seems to be the best part of town. Good sized room. Very quiet. Great restaurant with very tasty food and a huge beautifully presented breakfast.
The one thing that let it down is that the room smelt very musty. Maybe it hadn't been used regularly as it is off season but it was pretty bad despite the room and bathroom being spotlessly clean.

One of the best hotels we stayed in… slap bang in the center and beautiful hotel with great breakfast and fantastic staff

Overall the hotel is very nice and quiet the night we stayed. (No street noise). The location is ideal and if need you can take a cab nearly anywhere in Rivas for less than 100 cordobas
I reserved the suite a month in advance on Booking.com. upon checkin I was given room 5 which doesn't have a seating area and is smaller. They had already given the suite in the pictures to someone else. Their defense is that the apps fault because the pictured room reserves Room 5 and not the actual room on the app. Most irritating is they know of the problem and don't fix it. They charged the same amount for Room 5 despite no seating area and made no concessions for the known error.
