Great views but a bit dirty

Was only for us. It was empty and The views are amazing

Wasn’t clean, The place looks a bit different than the pictures. It says that is 6,7km from Sapa but is 27km away. There was no staff only a very friendly girl that was 1 hour during the morning but after that is unattained

Well-photographed. Poor value. Book elsewhere.

Good location.

Neutral to cold staff. Much below local standard as far as cleanliness, wifi, and service. Dirty, moldy walls. Paper thin walls shared with neighbor (not private bungalow). Very poor value. Insisted on payment on arrival, even waited outside my room while I unpacked. Assume this is because issues are frequent and people refuse to pay the full rate. No dinner options. Food at bare minimum.

Nice little cabin. Staff are friendly.

Nice cabin, near the rice fields.

The view wasn’t exactly as we wanted but fine for a night.

9 / 10

It was my favourite place in Vietnam, just because the design felt like staying in a beautiful tiny house in the valley.

Beautiful design. Just a small cabin with 3 main spaces for rent. Lovely furniture, textiles, artwork and views, with a private balcony to spend mornings and evenings relaxing. Ta Van is a special village.

We were the only guests at the time so it felt a bit empty. There’s a communal kitchen but it would be better with some books and candles and cushions to create a warmer feel. I think it would be better when the outside table is in use with fairy lights and a fire.
