Far from "Luxury" – Safety hazards and terrible management

The only silver lining to our stay was the wider complex itself. The facilities were excellent, and we genuinely appreciated having access to the 24-hour gym, well-maintained pools, sauna, and spa.

Firstly the AROA was "selective with the truth" in its advertising. In the Booking app there was no indication that the only bathroom was an ensuite which caused privacy and access issues. Fine if you are a couple but not a family of 4. When we arrived, there was no welcome guide provided and was left figure out basics like groceries, rubbish disposal, and facilities access on our own as we didn't get any repsonse. We immediately found an active ant infestation swarming from unsealed holes in the shower and the kitchen, and a broken light fixture hanging dangerously from the ceiling in the second bedroom. The flat was also poorly cleaned with stains throughout, damaged furniture, and a toilet brush bizarrely resting in a cut-up plastic water bottle. The outdoor terrace seat was not really usable - 2 lounger were completely broken, cushions ripped and stained, and the red parasol from the listing photos had been permanently removed so no shade from the sun. We got incredibly poor support from AORA STAY. Instead of sending maintenance to fix the main health & safety hazards (e.g. ant infestation and broken light) they were dismissive, they abruptly messaged us to say they suggested we leave because they "cannot assist". Rather than fixing a dangerous light fixture and ant issue, they told us to leave and find another apartment during peak August season which caused even more stress. We eventually found a new location available 4 days later, in the interim we had to stay and my kids stayed with my wife in the master bed to avoid the possible damaged light falling and I slept in the second bedroom. I have travelled throughout Spain for years, this is by far my worst experience with a property management company. Poor communication and dismissive. Coupled with having to chase them for weeks to get my security deposit returned, their handling of the whole situation was abysmal.

A very nice flat with all commodities. Two perfect exterior swimming pool. Golf Calanova just next to the building for golf lovers. A nice sea view from the balcony. Maka was very kind and we have pick up the keys very quickly.
