- Excellent location, perfectly situated right next to the historic walls in the center of the old town, an ideal base for exploring.
- The apartment was generally as advertised with a well-equipped kitchen (with a tap providing filtered drinking water), a comfortable living area, and a satisfactory bathroom. The apartment itself was very quiet and pleasant, and the bedroom was fitted with window blinds for a good night's rest.
- Everything was clean, tidy, and overall very well-maintained.
- The host was friendly in person and offered to assist if we needed anything (though, after the tedious check-in experience, we didn't feel much like engaging further). He also left an informative guidebook that looked interesting, though unfortunately it was available only in Italian.
- The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. Before providing the key box code, the host asked us to send photos of our IDs via WhatsApp or email. We offered to present them in person, but were told the host would not be there and that we should send them remotely. We eventually did so, only to meet the host in person upon arrival anyway. While identity verification is mandatory, GDPR and the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) emphasize limiting the sharing of ID documents. At other properties during our trip, we were able to present our documents in person. The process felt unnecessarily complicated and interrupted our sightseeing, as we had to spend time exchanging messages and photographing our documents while travelling. This was not a great start to our stay and negatively affected our overall impression.
- Although clean overall, we found several hairs on the towels that definitely did not belong to us. This raised questions about the laundering process, and replacing them with standard white hotel towels would be a welcome improvement.
- The included breakfast was disappointing due to the low quality and limited nutritional value of the provided items. It was not served at a local café as mentioned in some other reviews, the host left a few packaged products in the apartment. If time and budget allow, we recommend future guests buy fresh local fruit, bread, and cheese themselves, as they are well worth trying.
- Another problem was the Internet connection, quality varied significantly depending on the time of day, with evenings being the worst. Our phones also struggled with mobile reception in this location, suggesting this may be a broader issue with mobile network coverage. However, our phones consistently performed better than the modem provided in the apartment (modem uses Wi-Fi 4, a standard dating back to 2009), so we often had to rely on our own mobile data even for basic tasks such as checking Google Maps.

Nous devions récupérer les clés dans une boite sécurisée, mais finalement l'hôte est venue à notre rencontre pour nous les remettre et nous guider sur notre séjour. L'emplacement en plein centre historique et silencieux sont un atout majeur. Les petits déjeuners , les propriétaires laissent dans l'appartement de quoi prendre nos petits déjeuners.
Le parking en dehors du centre historique, malgré cela, nous avons toujours trouvé des places libres à une distance très raisonnable de la maison.

Appartement très propre et très fonctionnel. Il ne manquait absolument rien. Les propriétaires sont très gentille et plein d’attention. Petit déjeuner très copieux . Et l’appartement est très bien situé. Proche du centre ville
