The location, comfortable beds, hot shower, air conditioning and new appliances in the kitchen.
Stayed here 3 years ago for 3 nights at the same time of year and I have no issues with the rustic and a more traditional lay out of Spanish houses. However on this occasion I felt that the house needed a deep clean and updating considering the increase in cost. Marks on the walls, bathroom sink not draining properly, ants at the front door, bathroom and in the kitchen. Broken arm on the lounger on the terrace, fork holding parasol steady and rip in the fabric, chipped plates and mugs, dirty cutlery, stained towels and dishtowel, only power socket in the main bedroom not secured to the wall properly, pictures not hung correctly, dated bed linen, misshapen pillows, cotton bud and human hair on the bedroom floor, ancient and noisy aircon unit in the second bedroom, lumpy faded sofa bed and a mix and match of furniture that was in my opinion surplus to requirement.
