I loved everything about this hotel which exceeded my expectations. Honestly I don't think the photos do this place justice. The level of design detail is superb. Everything is considered in a very subtle, functional but beautiful way. The staff were incredible friendly and professional. Paolo, who greeted us on arrival gave us all the information we could possibly need. The gentleman ( apologies I did not get his name) who dealt with our departure and ordered a taxi for us was also very helpful and friendly.
There was nothing about this hotel I didn't like.

What a gem of a find ! We absolutely loved our 2 nights at Pianelle resort in Matera. The hotel is small and has such personality. They thought of every little thing to make our stay perfect. The staff were wonderful - friendly and so helpful.
The little breakfast area / bar area are beautiful ! Breakfast was perfect for a start to the day. Still can't believe we stayed in a cave in the sassi in Matera - what a privilege !!!!
Absolutely nothing !!!

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. The location is also amazing and the hotel has a rooftop bar only for its guests.
The air conditioning is very loud, we felt like we had construction works going on next to our room. It was also very intense and there was no night mode to select.
