Prime location next to all the action and restaurants on SMB, but far enough away to feel very private and exclusive. Great condo, clean, maintained, well-stocked, comfortable beds and furnishings. Beautiful views, cold AC and a good layout for our family. Ample lounge seating and umbrella shade on the beach, with outdoor shower to keep from tracking sand into the condo. Nice quiet guests and condo owners. Great snorkeling right next to shore on the Seafire reef. We saw rays, barracuda, octopus, puffer fish, angel fish and various other colorful fish. Our neighbors went out about 200yds and saw turtles and nurse sharks. Helpful, professional and responsive property management.Highly recommend the Sundowner and we look forward to a return visit!

If you are looking for a great, beach front location on Grand Cayman, this is your place. Quiet, private location, with easy access to the resort areas for dining and family fun. Sundowner was perfect for my family and we will definitely be back to stay again. The Property Management team were a pleasure to deal with and we are very grateful. #8 Sundowner was a pleasant and cute place to stay. Everything was clean & tastefully decorated. The A/C worked great! Which was a MUST w/ high humidity and heat. This was our 1st time to Grand Cayman however we are not strangers to those temps..to our surprise there were quite a bit of mosquitos around the dusk/dawn time. We noticed other units had screened in porches; However I don't know if we would have sat outside within a screened area just because it was so hot. It was either swimming or inside for us. Surprisingly, we never encountered a bug or any creepy crawly inside the condo! We were grateful for that! If we had any criticisms it would be some kitchen appliances needed updating; coffee maker & knives mostly. I couldn't get the dryer to produce any heat & something in the washer stunk & stained pants. We left the next morning so I didn't have time or need to call maintenance. We did have paddle board envy. As we made friends with other renters their units included some community type shared boards; however ours did not. It would have been a nicety . There is a close rental place 10 minute walk down the beach though. Other than that it was a wonderful place. The location just simply does not get any better. You are literally on the water with an unobstructed view. The water directly in front was soft sand additionally an easy walk right into the water without having to swim over coral or rocks.. Its was just absolutely ideal for us and little kids. ENJOY!
