I slept in the tent/chalet room in the garden and it was really nice and quiet.
The garden is great to unwind.
The coffee tour and trip to nearby waterfalls was amazing.

This is a beautiful, rustic accommodation within a community village. The room is spacious and well decorated. The family is so kind and I loved the upstairs chill spot. I highly recommend the coffee and village tour and I bought some coffee beans from them, grown and roasted at their home! Breakfast and morning coffee is nice!
The shower becomes very slippery and I would recommend a scraper or mop for people to use after showering.
Party music from the community goes on until late, I recommend bringing ear plugs.
As the house is on the slopes, off the main roads, budget a bit more for ride hailing services to town.

We had a very pleasant stay at Jua Eco Home. It is a beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature, with a very friendly and welcoming staff.
Most of the accommodation is made of wood and natural materials, which creates an authentic atmosphere that feels very connected to the local village and surroundings. It is a perfect place to slow down and enjoy the peaceful environment.
Every morning, we had a tasty local-style breakfast, which was a perfect way to start the day. We also had the opportunity to see a traditional coffee ritual and the preparation of the coffee, which was a very nice and authentic experience. We also had a nice trip to a nearby waterfall.
We really enjoyed our stay at Jua Eco Home and would definitely recommend it.

A nice property near waterfalls.
Some of the children who live near the home stay started to dislike me (I don't know why as I mind my own business) and after a few weeks they began organized harassment of me. I got so bad that I couldn't leave the compound at night without being escorted by Wema the owner's wife. The threatening gang is led by a kid called Brighty. These bad kids are called "chokora" by Tanzanians. In such situations the Tanzanians side with their own people. I finally left because I couldn't walk anywhere, even in the day, without some of them shouting insults from their gardens and even as I passed them on the road. I've been all over Tanzania and never experienced such treatment.
