Large modern apartment in an excellent location. Great support whilst staying there.

My family of 4 (2 adults and children aged 7 & 12) stayed in this apartment for 5 nights and I can highly recommend it. The location of the apartment (Rue des Banques almost opposite La Salama restaurant) is great as it is literally 30 seconds walk from the front door of the building to Jemaa El-Fna. There are about 25 stairs from the front door up to the apartment and about the same from the apartment up to its huge private roof terrace. There are two apartments in the building and we didn’t hear a sound from the one next door. The apartment is modern, clean, has two bathrooms, and the kitchen has a large fridge freezer, 2 ring hob, kettle, microwave, and washing machine. It also has decent wifi (which the booking.com listing didn’t mention when we booked). There are 3 TVs. The aircon works well and there are wall mounted aircon units in both bedrooms and in the lounge, which all have their own remote. There are a couple of small grocery shops in the street outside (go out the door and turn right) but as the prices weren’t fixed and they didn’t sell fresh produce we tended to stroll through Jemaa El-Fna to the small BIM supermarket on Rue Fatima Zahra to buy our bread, milk, meat, etc. Huge shout out to Taoufik who works in the bag shop below the apartment. He looks after the apartment with his brother. He was really helpful, friendly, full of great advice about negotiating prices in souks, and even put himself out to drive to get us a spare key when my 12 year old son accidentally locked us out. He made our holiday far less stressful than we thought it would be.

The street outside can get a bit noisy in the evenings (chatter from people walking past not music or anything loud like that) but it didn’t disturb us or keep any of us awake, mainly as the windows on the two bedrooms are double glazed.

Great location within easy walking distance of restaurants, soak etc

The location is excellent. Right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance of restaurants, museums, and the souk. It was very convenient to come and go as we wished, allowing us to rest in the apartment and enjoy the city at our own pace. The apartment was clean and well maintained. We noticed from previous reviews that the host takes guest feedback seriously and continuously improves the hospitality experience, which we truly appreciated. We travelled in mid-February, and the apartment was pleasantly warm without being too hot. We did not need to use the AC or heating and enjoyed having breakfast and spending evenings on the rooftop terrace. The host kindly provided extra towels upon request and allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which made our stay even more comfortable. Everything was simple, smooth, and well organised. The host was discreet yet always available and helpful whenever needed.

Excellent large apartment in a great location

The apartment was located centrally off the main square. The host communicated well throughout and were met nearby with the keys and shown around. It was a large apartment and very comfortable with good facilities including WiFi and an outside terrace. My friend and I had a great time staying there. There are numerous restaurants close by as well as a restaurant/bar, general store and coffee vendor opposite. Everything was in walking distance.

L’emplacement idéalement situé au cœur de la place et proche du souk. La qualité de l’appartement, la propreté, le confort, les matériels disponibles (table et fer à repasser, cafetière Nespresso, machine à laver, frigo..) La gentillesse de l’hôte

Une légère difficulté à trouver l’emplacement à notre arrivée tardive le soir (23h30) mais la solidarité locale nous a aidé à trouver l’endroit…
