Worst experience ever!

Staying at this place felt like sleeping in a garbage truck. There was a horrible smell of rotten fish coming from the kitchen area and spreading throughout the entire apartment. It was also full of flies, and we found ants in one of the bathrooms, a silverfish in the sink, and a dead grasshopper in the building's hallway. We took photos of all these pests. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone, and I'm baffled by its current rating on Booking.com.

Nice, comfortable, quiet flat in central location. Information and a welcome pack woukd have made it perfect.

Central location, quiet and clean.

The check-in consisted of a 1 minute handover of keys. No information/instructions were provided eg WiFi code, where to leave rubbish, recycling etc. Only one tiny pack of small tube washing up liquid, 1 cloth, 1 bin bag provided for a 1 week stay. Cleaning products were left after we requested them.

Three wonderful weeks in Cadiz in January.

The apartment was homely and well designed. The two bedrooms each had its own bathroom with excellent showers and ever available hot water. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms dark and quiet for a perfect night's sleep. The heating effectively kept us cosy during our 3 week stay in January. The kitchen was well equipped and there were no problems catering for ourselves with a small supermarket virtually next door and the central town market and a large supermarket a short walk away. The location is perfect. Walk one way and you are on the seafront, walk another and you are in the market square and on to the cathedral. There are beautiful squares at the end of most of the charming narrow streets, lined with balconied old houses. Within a short walk are churches containing paintings by El Greco, Murillo and Goya. Opportunities to eat and drink are everywhere. Cadiz is a delightful, relaxed city and the local population is welcoming to tourists who have little or no Spanish. Eating out is very affordable compared to the UK. A word of warning : you will have great difficulty if you are vegetarian. The concept of a dish not containing any meat or fish seems alien in this part of the world, with its excellent pork products and profusion of shell fish. There was a vegetarian restaurant, but it was closed . The local town market will provide for every taste.

The crockery could be reviewed, as much is chipped. It would be helpful to have instructions on using the oven, as it was not an intuitive process.
