Exceptional location, friendly staff
“Luxury hotel” is a bit of an overstatement. Yes, staff are friendly and location is great but that doesn’t constitute a luxury stay.
Cons:
the bed is worn out, pillows are paper thin, decor is before this century, serious need of a renovation. Not even a bottle of water in the room as a basic amenity. There was a vibrating noise coming from the ceiling that kept me up most of the night.
Greece is evolving and increasing rapidly in the hospitality sector and with so much potential this hotel seems it stopped trying a long time ago. And it is a real shame, for almost 100€ per night in shoulder season, I wouldn’t exactly call it value for money.
