Bait and Switch

Some of the staff when it was needed the most, took care of things needing done.

From the moment we walked in was disappointed of the conditions of the entire unit. It smelled bad. On line description and pictures wasn't near as nice one showed on line. There was no heat, owner trested us light we were too dumb to work the thermostat. Only to find out owner knew there was issues and part was on order. First night left freezing, second floor heater, 3rd fixed. On line description claimed unit was sanitized...further from the truth. Entire unit in poor dirty conditions, so bad I went out bought cleaning supplies to do unit myself. Also bought us towels and blankets. The towels, bedding in unit was hard and smelled bad. Had problems with lock on door. Oh, them there's the train track just across the street....travels a lot, very noisy and shakes unit. Pitbull lives up stairs roams without lease and owner leaves their door open so dog can go in and out of unit. The location of unit is somewhere I wouldn't want to stay if I knew ahead of time. We stayed 12 of the 14 days we paid for...couldn't continue trying to make the best of a bad situation. We came from Florida for the birth of our 2nd granddaughter filled with so much love and happiness. Only to get to unit crying that this was awful . There's nowhere to walk you dog. No grass, just rocks. I wish there was something positive to say, but sadly I can't. This place was truly an awful place to stay and I hope that anyone who maybe looking to book, run as fast as you can. You can find so much better and you deserve to be able to live in clean and comfortable surroundings.

The apartment is a scam. They charge cleaning fees 150usd per 1 night. The check out is 10am , in all the places I have stayed in Austin is 12pm. The apartment is old ,superficial renovated, nothing to do with the pictures. The bath🛁 doesn't work. The smell in this apartment is very peculiar. I wouldn't stay there even for free
