Check in was a breeze, and location was nice. Wish The man at the counter was pretty sweet too. We didn’t stay our total stay because of the roach infestation:( German roaches are a fear of mine. And I did not want to bring that home.

Our experience at this hotel was disappointing, and I would not recommend it. The biggest issue was the staff. They were incredibly rude, especially the woman at the front desk. I politely asked if I could have just 5 extra minutes for a late checkout, and she immediately said, "Absolutely not," in a very unfriendly and dismissive manner. Five minutes! It wasn't about the extra time—it was about the way we were treated. Ironically, I checked out on time anyway. However, when I asked for my receipt, they made me wait for five minutes because their printer wasn't working. Apparently, their five minutes matter, but yours don't. Another employee (may be the manager) apologized for not allowing the five-minute late checkout, but by then the damage had already been done. The entire interaction left us feeling unwelcome and completely demoralized over something so trivial. The room itself was also disappointing. Some of the furniture and equipment looked old and worn out, and the room was noticeably smaller than it appeared in the photos online. Considering the rude customer service, this hotel is simply not worth the price. We genuinely felt like we were not wanted there. I think the positive reviews for this place come from returning guests who are treated differently because they stay there every year. Other than the beach, there was nothing we truly enjoyed about our stay. Save your money and choose a place where guests treated with basic courtesy and respect.

This is my 2nd time staying here. The private beach access is great. Also nice size pool and hot tub. Everything is always clean and safe. Free parking which shouldn't have to be said but alot of places are charging nowadays. Right in the middle of Destin. Close to any and everything you need. I also had a room facing the ocean this time and thats always a good thing.
