the place was really good

The room was clean and the bed was comfy with a variety of different pillows.
Check-in was a self-service tablet which failed and wasted everybody's time.
The hotel was mostly quiet at night other than a bit of banging from the room above.
The hotel rooms are air conditioned however the temperature is centrally controlled and cannot be adjusted individually. The room was still too warm for me to sleep on the first night and they do not provide fans.
The staff were efficient however and the room was cleaned every day.
The hotel is very close to a large shopping mall with everything from Aldi, fashion shops and a Media Markt which was handy because I needed a power bank. It also has a food court.
The train station is also very close by with multiple train connections and an underground station on the U8 line which provides quick and easy access to Alexanderplatz where many of the main attractions are situated, with quick transport connections to the rest of the city and beyond.
