We had a very good stay at Domus Guest House. The room was exactly as advertised—clean, attractive, comfortable, and matching the photos. The air conditioning worked extremely well, which was appreciated during the summer heat. The beds were comfortable, and everything from the sink to the fridge was in great condition. With the curtains drawn, the room was nice and dark for sleeping.
The only thing I didn't love was the building entrance, which feels more like an office building than a guest house. However, once inside, the accommodation itself was excellent.
One important tip for future guests: make sure you contact the manager via WhatsApp before arriving to arrange check-in. The instructions do mention this, but I missed that detail. When I arrived, I couldn't get in right away and, because I only had a data-only eSIM, I couldn't make a phone call. A nearby shopkeeper kindly called for me, and the manager arrived within about 20 minutes. He was very friendly and helpful. This was entirely my mistake, but it's worth noting for other travelers.
A nice surprise was discovering a small shared kitchen next to the rooms with dishes, utensils, cups, and a microwave. I didn't find it until my second day.
The neighborhood is about a 10-minute walk from the metro and the main restaurant area, although there are a few small restaurants right outside the building as well.
Overall, this is excellent value for money. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, safe place to stay while

Room was very clean. The staff was very helpful, went to the hotel earlier than scheduled to meet us for check-in. Even arranged to keep our luggage after check out time so we can attend the Papal audience.

Clean room and friendly host. Close to Vatican. Came to visit Vatican. It worked out very well. For Vatican visit this is a nice place to stay. There is no sign outside. It is on 1st floor (one set of stairs up).

At first, I had a little difficulty finding the location, but I was able to get in touch easily, and a gentleman kindly came to help me. Since my suitcase was quite heavy, he even assisted me with carrying it, which I truly appreciated.
He explained everything in detail and was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and equipped with a coffee and tea maker, which was a nice touch.
Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay.
If I ever return to Rome, I would definitely choose this place again.
