Reviews

2 / 10

Our stay was marred by significant administrative and maintenance issues from the start. We experienced a lengthy delay during check-in as the property was initially unable to locate our reservation, and entry instructions were not provided prior to arrival. Staff presence at reception was minimal throughout our stay. While the property has strong fundamental features—a spacious room, high ceilings, a comfortable bed, and an excellent location (though note there are several flights of stairs)—the overall upkeep was unacceptable. Specific concerns included mould in the bathroom, exposed wall wiring, unemptied bins left from previous occupants, and unmaintained room amenities. The lack of attention to detail and poor communication significantly impacted our stay. I would advise prospective travelers to consider alternative accommodations, as the current standard of service does not justify the rate.

3 / 10

The property felt more like a comfortable home than a hotel, and check-in was very straightforward. However, the floors were dirty and the bathroom had visible mould, which let the experience down.

The property was beautifully decorated and modernized enough for even us spoiled Americans. Franco the host was very friendly and helpful. He made our Florence visit wonderfully pleasant.
