Booked 1 room with another family with 9 of us at the property. We had also rented cars and drove to the hotel. Great access for free parking. The room was split over 2 levels that the boys enjoyed. The room was very clean. The breakfast selection was significant to choose from and the Italian restaurant was really great. The hotel gave direct access to the beach and great spot for sunset pictures!

I stayed in one of the suites on the beach which went above and beyond my expectations. However, my last day was ruined as despite there being noone booked into my room on the day I left they would not let me keep my room on unless I paid a ridiculous sum of money, instead offering me a different room for the day, which defeated the object. Why clean two rooms when you could just clean one?
I chose not to change rooms as it was pointless and they said they had a room which guests could use to have a shower, get changed and pack but this turned out to be a public toilet with 3 shower cubicles. To be honest I was disgusted and the only saving grace was that I was in there alone.

Amazing hotel, communication with regard to our booking was great and when we arrived everything was easy.
Room was clean and spacious, staff were really friendly, breakfast we were spoilt for choice. Highly recommend Marika, a stones throw from the beach and town too!

Excellent hotel with exceptional breakfast spread in Crete. Bad October weather was well compensated by the hotel's comfortable stay. :) Reception staff welcoming but the staff in the breakfast room could try to put on a smile from time to time.
