Hotel Praktik Èssens in Barcelona exceeded every expectation. The location was fabulous, central, and perfect for exploring the city. The service was outstanding, and the room layout was ideal for us traveling with our child. One standout touch was their cozy social room for breakfast, which was absolutely delightful. This was a five out of five experience, and without a doubt, I would stay here every time I visit Barcelona

This hotel is clean and very close to public transportation, which makes it great for a short term stay. However, the main draw of this hotel is the pool/bar/restaurant area in the center of the hotel. If you plan to lounge around the pool for a few hours each day this hotel will be perfect for you, if not there are cheaper options nearby.
Also, don’t bother choosing the “city view” option on Expedia, they don’t honor the view requests (my room was facing a courtyard, not the city).
