Location was very convenient to see fourth of July parade the city had, only a few steps away from the building! The staff was great, almost as soon as we checked in they offered if we needed anything to let them know. Next day of check-in I received another text to see how we were doing. That shows staff is very caring of their guests. Room was very clean with a nice balcony. Area of location was close to some sightseeing places, such as Black Chasm Cavern and Indian Grinding State Park in Volcano only about 20 minutes away from hotel. Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, it was good. The historic hotel decor is lovely. I recommend staying here.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room we had with a king bed was very comfortable, with more than expected room.
The only issue was a discrepancy between our booked rate and the higher rate we were charged at the property. I have contacted Expedia and hoping to get the issue resolved.
