Our room was absolutely beautiful!!! When we checked in, the beautiful woman at the front desk said she was going to show us to our room. And you could tell she was very excited to show us. And I understand why. The room was unique and very cool!! We even had a rooftop balcony overlooking Venice. The hotel was gorgeous and a little bit away from the chaos of the Rialto bridge but very close to the train station or the Piazzale Roma which is the main transport hub to and from the airports (less than a ten minute walk to both). There are plenty of dining options and shopping close to the hotel and the main action of the Rialto bridge is only a 15 minute walk away. There is a bar at this hotel and we were offered a welcome Prosecco drink ticket on arrival. I love finding these unique hidden gems especially when least expected!!! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!!

A short 10-minute walk from the Venice Santa Lucia train station, this absolute gem of a hotel is tucked away in quiet back street in the Santa Croce district. The staff here is friendly and welcoming and most eager to accommodate your needs. The room was cool and comfortable, with a "mini-bar" well stocked with natural bottled water, soft drinks and snacks, all free of charge. In addition, you get a complimentary glass of Proseco wine from the bar upon check in. The rooms include a dazzling breakfast buffet which includes coffee, eggs made to order, dried fruits, nuts, cold cuts, cheeses, salad bar, cereal, yogurt, pastries, and breads. All in all, the Santa Coce Boutique Hotel was a real find and well worth the cost.The neighborhood was mostly quiet at night, which fostered many nights of deep, restful sleep. P.S.--our air conditioning system worked perfectly, and there was no problem with mosquitoes!

This place deserves awards. I felt they were amazing all around except for one thing. If only the air conditioning worked better in Europe I'd be able to give 5\5 to this and many others. Sadly EVERYWHERE in Europe seems to not want to have cool happy customers the air is cold but the fans don't push it anywhere really which sucks... pretty sure I poured sweat every night I was in Europe, however, this hotel was the best of what is horrible. They hvould use a better selection of Scotch too š
