I have nothing but praise for my stay at Helgeson's. Unfortunately, I pulled a muscle in my leg just prior to check-in. The staff were very accommodating. They offered to get me some dinner, helped me get some ice to put on my leg and checked in with me to see if there was anything I needed. On top of that, the room was very clean and well appointed.
Dollar for dollar, recommending Helgeson's is a no-brainer. I look forward to staying here again under better circumstances.

It was like you were in a little apartment, Full size fridge ,stove top ,oven ,microwave, To clean beds. And the little charm about it was it had an old-fashioned elevator that she had to open the gate and close it. We would come back again.

Tastier than average breakfast. The condition of the rooms was excellent. The bathroom was incredible. I have never seen a bathroom with such superb illumination over the mirror. So many hotels try to be cute or aesthetic with the lighting in bathrooms. In this property, everything was terrific. It's worth going out of your way to stay there.
