Clean room... Horrible bed.

Reasonably priced. Room was clean and comfortable, however, the lights and TV were on some kind of timer. EVERYTHING seemed to turn off after a few minutes or so--sometimes it was about an hour, sometimes slightly shorter, other times slightly longer. I could not get the TV to stay on very long EVEN when I was physically watching it! In the middle of a show, it just turned off. I like to leave a light on in the room when I sleep, but I could not do this at this hotel because all lights in the room turned off if I did not move around; they would come back on when I made significant movements. I like the lights to be on at all times to help me orient myself when I wake up and also to help me move about the room without tripping and possibly falling down. Another more serious issue is that other people were riding bicycles and other things in the hall ways; one morning as I exited my room, a kid about 10 ZOOMED by me almost colliding with me. The kid's dad or person with them was using non-motorized scooter and he was very near my door when I exited. There was a lot of this kind of activity outside on the parking lot which was OK and tolerable but inside the hall ways was not acceptable. If I had collided with the bicycle, I would probably have fallen and either fractured a bone, joint or maybe something worse (I am 77 years old and although not completely fragile, such injuries are best avoided).

The staff was friendly and helpful. The building was secure. The room was clean. There was lots of parking. The free wi-fi was too slow to do anything. The kitchen did not come with much to cook with. There was one chair in the room.

Woodspring Suites was perfect for us. It is very clean----no carpets so easy to keep clean with the laminate/ vinyl flooring. Beds are up on metal posts for the frame so also very clean and kitchen area was clean with a burner , regular size refrigerator and top freezer, and large microwave. Bathroom was neat and clean and roomy. AC unit controlled by thermostat on the wall . We had been one night in a hotel that allowed pets , not far away, and it was a dive- dirty, lacking supplies and we had to check out the next day. Other patrons also had complaints such as non functioning microwave, no pull out for the kids who slept on the floor. This was like night and day. So glad we found them. Staff was also very friendly as well as other guests residing there.
