The Belvedere is an older hotel that exudes quaint Italian charm. This hotel is located right on Lake Como so the view from the restaurant is beautiful. You can see the villages of Lenno, Bellagio, Nesso and others along the shoreline. The location is fantastic - literally just up the street from the ferry terminal - a walk of only 3-5 minutes. The main square is across from the ferry terminal. Argegno is very small but has plenty of good restaurants and cafes, and all of them are within walking distance. The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the shower had lots of hot water. The staff was very helpful.

I noticed the hotel when I was alone ferry briefly docked at Argegno .. but bloke the look of the village and didn’t forget .. so move forward a little and I was planning a trip for July 26 - my note made told me to see what was available in Argegno and Belvedere was free on my dates. I booked in January for July and haven’t been disappointed.. it’s a lovely hotel , rooks are good and all have air on , I had a lake view which is amazing . The staff have all been very helpful, breakfast food and the restaurant has views as good as any !
There’s a small private beach and jetty which gets you straight into the lake ! Absolutely all good .. it’s compact and small , not corporate but the standards are high . I loved it
