Our stay at the Carmel Apartments in Falkirk was a wonderful reminder that you should never judge a book by its cover—or in this case, an apartment! From the outside it looked fairly ordinary, but stepping inside was a completely different story. The apartment was modern, spacious, and exceptionally well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. One feature that made my day was the washer-dryer combo, iron and ironing board which is always a welcome luxury when you're several weeks into a road trip! We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The apartment is conveniently located nearby the massive retail park within walking distance with many restaurants and shops on offer. The check in process was simple and straight forward with clear instructions from the host. On street parking nearby was easy to find.
Overall, we felt this stay offered excellent value for money with all the modern amenities that you need for a short or longer stay.

We were really pleased with the unit. The only concern I had was learning how to operate a washer dryer condensation unit. It would’ve been very helpful to have easy user directions.
I had to YouTube how to use the washer dryer. Unfortunately I did wash my clothes a few times before I figured it out.

We were pleased to see that we were close (walkable) to an M&S food store and McDonalds. The apartment was well equipped - great washing machine , good oven, microwave and coffee machine. Coffee capsules were provided for machine and there was a small pkt of local fudge and some biscuits. The large TV was easy to use, the couch comfortable and the dishwasher worked well. The bathroom was small but well equipped and the towels lathe and fluffy!
I would recommend to any single or couple wanting somewhere to stay while they explore the area .
