We enjoyed our stay in a large well equipped room. Staff helpful and the restaurant was excellent and fairly priced which was handy as nothing much in the area

This hotel was BEAUTIFUL. The people were also especially kind and accommodating. The restaurant was top notch and the breakfast buffet was great. This was the best cappuccino we had on our 2 week trip! I can't not say enough about this hotel. It was wonderful!

We stayed here to break a long drive across France/germany (and to have a quick visit to Augsburg). What we really like about el Gladatore is that is an old style, quirky, family run hotel with a nice restaurant and setting. Yes the carpets were a bit old and the drawer in our bedroom desk was broken, but in the end what all the family remember is that the palce felt homely because it is family run and not antiseptic like most 'chain' hotels
