Great location If close to the pier is what’s important , it was very clean . Pool is way smaller than pictured. Breakfast was great. Although I’m not very familiar if it’s the area but there is a lot of homeless around. An emergency alarm went off to evacuate, while I stepped out of the room to grab my DoorDash in lobby and my daughter was in the room and that really ruined her experience. She was traumatized the whole time we were there she didn’t want to leave my side (she’s 16yrs old) .But overall everything is walking distance which is great .

Hotel is definitely in a great location! A short walk to the promenade where you can enjoy restaurants and shopping, walk a little further down and you reach the pier. You can enjoy the beach, rides on the pier, the scenery or rent the motorized bicycles and take a beautiful ride along the beach! This trip was a graduation gift to my son & we really enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast being complimentary in the morning was a great touch, we didn’t have to go hunting for breakfast every morning. I would say they could switch up the menu more because after a week you definitely get tired of it but I am appreciative we had it. Only con I would say is the swimming pool, online you think you’re looking at this beautiful big pool but in reality it looks as big as the jacuzzi they have and the jacuzzi itself definitely needs a good power washing. The pool is also covered by the 3rd floor, so don’t think you’ll be basking in the sun for a suntan. Overall I would recommend this hotel to any friends & family.

This property is locked for your safety and you need your room card to enter the building. We liked that a lot. Literally everything is walkable, including the Santa Monica Pier. There’s food all around you, a cvs, target; anything is walking distance. Do not pay hotel parking. Go to the public garage and pay $20 for the day instead of $65 for the hotel parking. Garage 8 is about 2 blocks walk from hotel and it’s a straight shot.
Are room was nice sized with a significant sound of floor space. We were not cramped at all. Unfortunately, our room view looked out into the indoor swimming pool so it was very noisy. But ear plugs and Tylenol pm got us through that. So ask for any floor except 2. The laundry, ice, gym and pool are all on 2.
Breakfast was basic hotel buffet style with regular food items as expected.
They advertise laundry facilities. One washer was broken leaving only one. Surprisingly, there were many people wanting to do laundry. The only place to fill water bottles for drinking was in the gym on 2nd floor. The machine was standing in water which I reported around 9pm on arrival, still standing the next morning I reported after breakfast. And water still surrounding when we checked out on day 3. I’m sure this was causing damage to the floor, but it was not fixed.
This hotel deserves much better ratings from our point than we saw on Expedia. We would stay again if in the area.

Nice room, pool and hot tub! Breakfast good and standard for a family hotel. Overnight parking quite expensive at over $60 per night! Figure it into your budget. Also, could really use a clock in the pool area. Otherwise very nice.
