This hotel exceeded all my expectations. I thought I was booking an ordinary 2-night stay, but that stay included: (1) a daily fresh-cooked breakfast you could order as much as you wanted; (2) a sunset cruise on the Mekong River; (3) a fully-stocked complimentary mini-bar that was replenished daily, as was the in-room fruit basket; and all kinds of other amenities in the room. My room had a balcony facing the river (with the only minus being the road under the balcony that had motorbikes buzzing through until around midnight). I believe I also had access to hotel bikes, but I never used them. My rate also included a food-and-beverage credit I used for dinner in the hotel restaurant, which had a good-sized menu of local specialties and western choices. The hotel is located fairly centrally within the town's historic center, a couple of blocks away from the busy main street.

Wonderful breakfast overlooking the Mekong River. Somphone, the day manager was extremely helpful!!!
