This must be new owners who are reinvesting in the property. We stayed in a newly renovated room, new bathroom with walk-in shower (vs. old tubshower). New flooring, walls and furniture also. We stayed 2 nights but there was no service after 1st night, surprising but not a big deal. They are renovating the exterior also.
I’ve stayed here occasionally in the past 10+ years and this is a step up and worth the rates they’re charging now.

My husband and I were visiting the Wisconsin Concrete Museum just down the road for his 67 birthday. We had checked in early and the room was a welcome surprise. Very clean and no fake smells, fridge and microwave, beautiful view of the water. Although we didn't stay as long as originally planned, we have already recommended it to others. Kuddos to the front desk worker. He told us he really liked his job, and it showed. and you know how fussy us seniors can be. hahahah

Still in mid rehab. But even though there were esthetic icks , it didn’t not take away from the experience. Ive been coming here for years and I’m loving all the improvements!!

Staff was courteous, remodeling in progress looks very nice. Nice view of the lake. Convenient location.
