Warm welcome and friendly staff
Nice restaurant and food
Cosy albeit simple bungalow with fireplace
Renting car A good option as taxi quite expensive and about 45 min ride to go to Petropolis or Teresopolis

A POUSADA FAZ PARTE DOS HOTÉIS DE CHARME E REALMENTE É UM LUGAR SUPER AGRADÁVEL. EQUIPE SUPER ATENCIOSA, RESTAURANTE MUITO BOM. FIQUEI EM UM CHALÉ MASTER, COM LAREIRA MUITO ACONCHEGANTE. ÚNICO PONTO A MELHORAR SÃO OS DETALHES DE LIMPEZA DO QUARTO.

We liked the friendly and eficiente staff. Breakfast was also good. The place needs an upgrade of the rooms, it is not adequate for the rate they are charging. If you stay in the rooms near the reception (I mean very next to) it is like a pensione, very little privacy. But the rate was compared to a good 4 star hotel or boutique bread and breakfast ($212). The room itself was basic and outdated.
